There is no chance UT, with a shitty quarterback and no eyebrows, will be undefeated coming into the Bama game just as there is 0 chance UT will skullfrick said Bama team.

Hmm, well they do get most of that evil stretch at home and Arkansas for one still hasn't established itself as a team that can go into other people's stadium and whip them. I give the edge to the Vols for that game (just as I imagine many Vol fans would probably give the edge to Arkansas if they were coming here to play).

Georgia seems to have two or more what in the hell was Richt thinking games every season so they could win that one. Who knows whether the Vols get the good Oklahoma or the curl up in a fetal position Oklahoma?

I think they drop one, maybe two games going into Bama. Any more losses then that and it is going to be a long season for the Vols.

I wouldn't be completely shocked if UT beat OU in Knoxville. I'm not sure how good or bad Oklahoma is going to be this year, but they have a new OC going back to the air raid offense, and I'm not sure if they have the pieces on offense to make that work right away.

Especially when you consider that UT should be pretty good rushing the passer.

As bad as UT's offense was in that game last year, the defense certainly bothered OU quite a lot in that game, and I think on the front end, UT should be a little better next year, but I still have questions about the back end. Sutton can't do it himself.

I like them right at 3-3 right now, but wouldn't be shocked if they managed 4-2, as they have played Georgia extremely close the last 2 years and Florida may be really really bad.

In terms of records through those games, here is my guess at likelihood of record.

6-0: .1%
5-1: 5%
4-2: 45%
3-3: 45.7%
2-4: 3%
1-5: 1.1%
0-6: .1%

Nice response.

But what you fail to mention is that TN was a mess the last two years we've played as well and next year will be the first year we won't be, but you still will.

Only a few more months left to cling to that streak Gators.

Everyone really think the OU game won't be a really close one? In Neyland? I don't see it as a sure fire L for TN at all. I mean we certainly could be at worst it is a toss up.

I feel about the same with Arkansas too.

Thanks for the good post and I agree 100%.

I was jsut about to say that I would have us losing to OU and Arkansas if they were on the road, but with them being at home I think we certainly at least have a 50/50 shot in both.

I also agree that for TN to finish where we want (9-3/8-4) we better be at least 4-2 by the bye week.

Seems to me I've heard this for about the past 8 or 9 years. You have to admit 10 in a row is pretty impressive streak.

The odds of Tennessee being .500 or below is nearly certain.

No one outside of Tennessee's deluded fanbase thinks they'll beat OU

11 in a row has a nice ring to it

Arkansas will manhandle Tennessee worse than they did LSU

Tennessee greatest win of the season is their annual moral victory where they almost beat UGA but fall short.

But after the Bowling Green game I am sure Tennessee fans will try to convince us all they are back, again.

Certainly is impressive. Impressively good for Florida and bad for TN.

But really what I am saying is true.

People act like the worst roster in TN history with a first year head coach should have walked into Gainsville and won two years ago. We were a bigger mess than you were at that time.

Then last year, yea we blew that game, but you were coming out of a bye week and were playing for your coaches job. Your D was a bad matchup for our OL with Worley at QB.

This year we are the team with the coaching continuity, roster advantage (slightly) and you are the team with the mess to clean up.

For the first time since 2007ish I am expecting to win.

We (LSU fans here) will point out how great of an opponent UF is, all while ignoring what UF is over past 5 years.

Florida hasn't been that good as of late, except for one year. However, they had a hell of a run prior to that. Hasn't Florida beaten UT something like 8-10 years in a row now though? While florida may be down....there is down, and then there is Tenn down......
