That can't be, he had a contract. Bama would never fire a coach for losing to Auburn. (Sarcasm). You will lose your REC club card if you keep going against the script.

Truth: You better beat Auburn or you will be fired or asked to look elsewhere

Most LSU fans don't see Saban going to Alabama as a middle finger. He just took the best job that was available when he left the Dolphins.

Your conceptualization of him leaving LSU "to Alabama" is incorrect.
