You think the GPD covers up anything for UF football players? lol

No but I think Meyer covered up smaller things.

i still haven't seen anything that actually implicates Hernandez in the 2007 shooting. he was in a club nearby with a lot of other Gator players, but that's it.

But that would affect Meyer, not FLA, right? And I still don't see how Meyer would have any liability now for Hernandez actions. Other than a blackeye on Meyer's team management.

I guess I just don't understand how Meyer covering up a players "smaller things" while he was on the team has any bearing on the current events? It's common knowledge how Meyer ran his program, and the off-the-field issues his players had while he was there. Unless Urban knowingly covered up murder, then I don't see him being implicated in any of this stuff.

I agree Meyer won't be affected except his reputation.

His reputation is that he wins a lot of games, is an arse, quits when the competition takes a toll on him, and he runs a loosey-goosey program where discipline is concerned. I doubt he knowingly covered up for a freakin murderer.

He - allegedly - looked the other way when Percy Harvin beat up a WR coach.

He also was a racist and tossed around derogatory remarks freely & in public while attending UF. Here is an account from a classmate of one such instance.....

quote:

Absolutely. During the first week of class, we had a discussion about racial stereotyping. To get started, the instructor, who was actually poor grad student charged with controlling a class full of football players, asked us to just throw out some common racial stereotypes. AH yelled out from the back, "N***** all have boot lips and slurp dat Kool-Aid."

I won't claim for sure he did any murdering in gainsville, but to kill someone as calmly and nonchalantly as he is alleged to do last week, just shows me this isn't his first murder.

I doubt it but I do think Florida hushed up stuff he did for sure.

Was AH ever suspended any games for the weed? I don't remember him sitting out, but I don't follow UF football that closely either.

Will be interdasting to see what comes of that.

Nease is not a town. It would be the Ponte Vedra Bloods.
