It was completely unbalanced but the Tim Couch years (1997) under Hal Mumme were insane statstically until other teams learned to tackle the wideout screen.
After that it would have to be Andre Woodson 2006-2007.
Of course none of those teams won a lot because apparently you have to play defense too. Meh.

Mizzou
2007- 4,397 Passing
2,509 Rushing
39.9 Points Per Game
2008- 4,625 Passing
2,161 Rushing
42.2 Per Game
2013- 3,540 Passing
3,343 Rushing
39.1 Points Per Game
2007 was my favorite to watch, 2013 most well rounded.

Wasn't Chase Coffman on that squad as well?
yes as well as AA TE Martin Rucker. Also included Denario Alexander who was a total freak talent but had bad knees.

I'm old, and South Carolina's pre-SEC days in the 70's won't mean anything to most of the posters here.
But I think our best offense was when we had Jeff Grantz at qb in the 1970's (ran the Veer then). He really was a lot like Manziel, height and athleticism wise. If he had come along 30+ years later I have to wonder how big a splash he would have made.
We had some other good ones (though nothing like some of the Auburn teams and others) when George Rogers was there, Taneyhill's mid 90's teams, and some of the Holtz teams kinda.
To me Spurrier... man it isn't complicated, it's long though. Spurrier had some decent production in games, but quite often when he tried to run the Fun N' Gun stuff at Carolina early on it wound up being a Chinese Fire Drill.
Wasn't until he let Garcia take off and run, had Alshon Jeffrey and Lattimore on board, and started using Inside Zone as the bread and butter running play that we had an effective offense.
My take anyway. But I definitely don't think his offense was as good as the others I mentioned (including the Holtz years - at least Lou wanted to run the ball and knew how).

I will take this offense and the players over any offense we have ever had

Yup. '13 offense was essentially playing hold my dick. Teams knew what was coming and couldn't stop it.

2007 - JMac, Chase Daniel, Tony Temple, do I need to explain any further?
Those names mean very little to SEC fans.

2006 lsu offense was filthy
Talent wise, sure.
So filthy they managed to score 3 points against Auburn and 10 points against Florida. Oh yeah, let's not forget being down 20-7 in the 4th to a (3-7) Ole Miss team.
Jimbo was smart to get the hell outta there.

What part do you cry about? The fact that if we didnt have a total retard as a coach, we would have rolled UGA right out of the stadium?
Its the part that makes me cry. We barely get a chance to really roll UGA. 2013 was it. Thanks Gus for changing what was working 3/4 of the way through the game and relying on luck to win

The first 5 games of 2013, before fricking EVERYBODY blew their knee out, Georgia's offense was completely unstoppable.
Was that right up until the game in Kneeland Stadium?
