During Bud Wilkinson through Switzer it was "The Snake Pit"...

'Palace on the Prairie' is all fat assed Toby Roland's doing.

But other than Death Valley, and the Swamp, I don't recall any other SEC stadiums that have any national recognition as stadium's with a nickname.

Alabama's is the Nursing Home due to all the old arse season ticket holders that don't make any noise and are home by 10.

By rivals. Not the school. Tuberville tried to push it as the Jungle but that didn't work.

Ah yes, the ever so fresh "mobilehoma" smack.

Here is a bit of trivia for you...

What does Texas have 795,000 of that Oklahoma has only 166,000 of.

You Aggies need to be educated on these things.

I will always love "Kyle Field". so simple, and historic. Named for the man (ag prof I believe, and graduate of 1899) who built it himself with his own money.

Maybe it’s because the state of Texas has a population of 30 million and Oklahoma has only 4 million. Based on that a larger percentage of Okies live in trailers and it is not even close.

If you're into nicknames, you will fit right in with LSU fans.

I thought it was awesome to see your team emulate your fans last night. You know, disappearing in the 2nd half.
