Dobbs ... was shaky against Georgia until the 4th.
He passed for 318 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for 100+ yards and 2 TDs.
I hope he is "shaky" again Saturday.

Can you stop the run? Its that simple.

Dobbs has come in the game late against Bama the last two years and had success.
He will play the whole time and the offense is better and more talented this year than the last two years.
Granted, Bamas D is also better than it has been the last two years.
We won't win, but it wouldn't shock me if it was a game into the fourth.

stop the run and limit turnovers on offense and you have a chance.

the exact same as Bluto Blutarsky's GPA.

If we win, will you promise to leave this board, never to return?
If we lose, will you promise to jump into a swimming pool filled with sulfuric acid?

Bama should blow them out but I won't be surprised if Kiffin keeps it close like the Arkansas game. Tennessee is ranked 61st in scoring defense, 73rd in rushing defense, 91st in passing defense and 88th in total defense. There's no excuse for Bama not to be able to move the ball and score points at will.

As good as Alabama has looked at times they've also had the amount of big mistakes per game that usually characterize really bad teams.
Gary Danielson pointed out that enigma during the A&M game talking about them ranking near the bottom in all college football in the number of negative plays and penalties on 1st downs.
Couple that with turnovers like against Ole Miss and constant mistakes in the kicking game and any decent team could possibly upset them.
Still, even if they continue all the uncharacteristic errors, I'd imagine it would simply make for a closer win over Tennessee than expected.

rivalry games generally play closer then what the experts think. should be a 4 quarter game, Tennessee has looked a lot better imo than they have in the past.

I find it odd that bama has looked better on the road than they have at home

For some reason I feel good about this game. I felt good about the UGA game too. I don't know that we win but we'll give them a good fight and if Malone and company play like they did against UGA then we scare them. Our offense is good. Our defense not so much. I wish, I wish, I wish we had Shy Tuttle for this game. He would've had a career day. Without him though stopping Henry becomes difficult. We're down to 4 DTs.

These are correctable and about execution...not talent or depth defecincies, which are not correctable with a team.
Good teams improve. Coker has improved since Ole Miss. Starting center was out in the 2nd half of A&M game.
As far as the Tennessee game...the Vols will have to play their best game of the year and Bama will have to make mistakes, which are all very possible.
But if both teams play their best games Bama wins comfortably.

His production depends on how aggressive the play calling is.
And whether or not our WRs catch the ball. Josh Malone FINALLY playing like a 5* against UGA helped a lot. Josh Smith getting back to game speed after his injury helps tons too and PWilly is starting to come along (he is gonna be a beast when he gets a little more experience).
