They are about as even as any two programs can be.

No, using Rant logic, you are 1 game ahead, therefore, vastly superior.

Tennessee has struggled against all of the other top SEC football programs except LSU who they have completely dominated.

The series is tied 8-8-1 since we started letting black kids play back in 1970.

That includes UT's 0-2 record vs LSU in the SECCG.

I thought LSU was an historically great program?

I am a little surprised that we have a winning record versus Tennessee.

For whatever reason, we catch Auburn at the worst possible times.

Peyton beat us 30 to 29.

We played every year from 1956 to 1991.

You had good teams that beat us and good teams that we beat.

It's close. I mean 4 games up after about 50 games is not much difference

It's clear the story of Auburn's program is playing to the level of the competition. They play way up for the big boys and down to the scrubs.

UF has always seemed to have problems with teams from the Magnolia state...I remember 1989 and we played an opener against Ole Miss and completely outdid them in total yardage but kept being charitable with the football...we had almost a 3-1 edge in yards and still lost. In 1965 I remember Spurrier was QB, we were ranked and had just taken Northwestern behind the woodshed 43-7 (this is all memory btw...no media guide) and damn if Moo State didnt upset us something like 18-13. When Spurrier was coach we were upset in 1992 by MSU and in 2000 ditto. Urban lost in the now infamous Tebows promise game in 2008 to a pretty darn good Ole Miss team.

We have done well with LSU & UT in the last 25 yrs and have made the overall series with UGA closer.

Yeah, for some reason the Gators have had problems with the Mississippi schools.

Auburn being within 9 games of Bama is beyond bizarre. Not playing for about 40 years in the period where Bama was largely dominant and they weren't has a lot to do with it.

It has everything to do with it. If we had played them every year, like Tennessee, we would be up 30+ games on them.
