He won't. Got really outplayed by UK's 2nd string QB. 4 turnovers including the one that led to UK's winning FG. Can't imagine that didn't lose him lots of support.

So, who do you suggest should win? How would Jackson winning the Heisman discredit the award?

I think Mahomes is better than Jackson. Watched that guy do crazy stuff last year in our bowl game with them.

What's the line on this game? Can't look it up at work.

You obviously haven't seen him play. Hes the most elusive player I've seen in the last 10 years. Incredible player.

Louisville's offensive line is woeful. They have a decent running back in Brandon Radcliff and of course Lamar Jacksons mobility really mask quite a lot of their deficiencies. They have a tight end who will likely play on Sundays. The key seems to be blitzing Lamar as his line is incapable of picking it up and he rarely makes the right read and short arms the throw. The few times Kentucky brought pressure it resulted in a sack or an incompletion.

The Louisville defense is drastically over rated. The defense is slightly better than average but they've played 3 top 50 offenses and with the exception of FSU they all put up over 40 points on them. The rest of their schedule reads like the who's who of cant get a first down.

Total Offense
127th Boston College
125th Wake Forest
114th Marshall
113th Virginia

It wont be as easy as Texas A&M but I'll take the Tigers.

I like the matchup for LSU if they're healthy. They could really use LF7 in this one. I look for LSU to get a bunch of turnovers, but the question is what they can do with them. Petrino will throw the kitchen sink at them because he knows that he's got inferior talent (exception being QB ).

Easy prediction: Jackson will have his worst game of the year in this one.

LSU by a lot. If Leonard is healed by then I don't think they have the horse up front to stop a physical run game as long as your defense is giving up quick scores your run game should be able to keep their offense off the field.

I personally don't expect LF to play. He needs to get that ankle healed and go into the combine healthy. Guice should pick up the slack pretty well. It's nice having Guice as a backup. Hes one of the most impressive runners I've ever seen. He runs like he's allergic to the ground.

You need 2 really good backs to maintain the intensity in the 2nd half.

Does he really need the combine? He's got a pretty big body of work to show. Seems like he could be the kind of guy that shows up to the combine just to lift weights and get measured and not participate.

Kentucky beat them in Louisville, for God's sake.

Even w/o Beckwith, LSU defense should be able to take care of business against them. Aranda's got weeks to scheme for this one. LSU offense should be able to run against them with a lot of success, sustain long drives, own time of possession, and score enough to win by two scores or more.

I like LSU in this game. I thought the LSU secondary was the best one we played against. Man it's hard to get separation against those guys !
