They don't need any more of that. And that'll only make LF more dangerous

I'd say about 4. I have a feeling MSU will surprise people this year.

Slim to none and slim just walked out the door.

State is a hard team to judge right now. Lost to South Alabama and beat USCe which is a complete dumpster fire. Kinda hard to judge on those two games.

Gonna depend on Nick Fitzgerald. If he continues to improve, LSU may have to actually pass the ball.

We are going to have to do this because running the ball early on State will be a tough task. Their front 7 is really good!

The front seven is really good. But when has LSU ever been a pass first team? Never. Not even against Bama. They'll try to run it down State's throat. But if Nick Fitzgerald plays well, things may get interesting.

Yeah that's based on the past IMO. We are talented but anyone that thinks State only has a %5 chance of beating this squad needs their head examined. It will be a tough game unless the offense finally clicks.....how many times have we said that tho?

I remember last year in an interview during Dak's last season where Dan Mullen was asked about life after Dak. And Mullen replied "Fitz is probably more athletic and I don't think that hurts Dak's feelings at all. The possitive is Fitz learning under Dak, what it takes to play in this league."

Mullen went on to say that Fitz is faster and and has the insticts of a good RB when he sees the open.

There's no doubt Fitz is faster. And bigger. But I wanna see him have the "it" factor Dak had. If he does, then it'll be a fun Saturday night

25% which is about what ESPN said is the chance we have to lose.

I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever under Miles believe there is "no chance" to lose again...

If I was a State fan I'd hope 0. You need Mullen out as he's a lame duck and the yearly poor recruiting will cement you at the bottom of the pack outside of a Dak like miracle popping up. As an Ole Miss fan, I'm hoping for a 7. If he can pull off one upset and beat the rest of the shite teams and go bowling then he's safe for at least another year.

Somewhere between 1 and 1.3.... I'd venture to guess 1.15

Everybody's got a chance this year against LSU til we see what the change brings.

If LSU is going to do anything at all this year, it has to start tomorrow. I look for a 3 score win for us, but I'm a homer.

IMO this is a watershed game for this team. If LSU cant pass the ball in this game it will be a long season win or lose. State's defensive backfield = dumpster fire

Corners are bad. Our Safety position is actually very solid.

I'll tell you what is crazy. Anyone who has seen Fitz as a true frosh and then again as a redshirt frosh during back to back years in the scrimmage games saw a guy drill beautiful deep passes where only the reciever had a shot of catching. He has shown the ability to throw the deep ball on target. I wonder if this is something we haven't seen yet to balt LSU.

I agree.

LSU should win the game whether they pass the ball well or their usual elite 130 yard passing game, but if they turn it over, it could get interesting.

The LSU O-line will also need to show me something. Jax State DL is not an SEC DL.

If LSU has a hard time run blocking, then we are going to HAVE to pass or hope Guice or LF can just take the game over themselves.

I'm thinking LSU 21 MSU 14.

If LSU struggles passing against this secondary, it's not going to be pretty in BR going forward.

Hah...you caught me just before my edit of 5% to answer your scaling question. I would say 5-10% is realistic. The talent gap this year is tremendous. If they played 10 times, I could see LSU winning every time in reality. Not to diss on MSU, but being honest.
