You should have replied to the Florida Fan because LSU fans don't hate any former coaches. No, not even Saban. Most fans actually root for them as long as they are not playing LSU and it does not effect our chances of winning our division

No, that is a damn myth. I have never not once heard a LSU fan in person say anything negative about Nick Saban other than wish he would have stayed. In 2008 we felt more disrespect than anger

We wanted to let him get a bit more seasoning under his belt before coming to the best collegiate coaching job in the country.

I have talked to many many an LSU fan that has tremendous respect to Saban even to this day for who he is as a coach. Yes some LSU fans are butthurt, but most have respect for the man as a coach.
