Getting rid of Les will cripple this program much like what happened after we ran off Cholly Mac.

Oh well.

Guess our spoiled young fans will finally get to experience LSU pre-Saban.

It had better be an absolute home run hire. If not, OP may be right. If I were in charge down in BR, I'd try to keep Les and get better coordinators, particularly an OC that knows how to evaluate and coach up a QB.

Take it from a Bama fan, getting rid of a championship caliber coach for losing a few games is not the way to go.

Like Nebraska did?

We are not getting a home run hire with all the jobs open.

No home run is coming to BR after this. Unless he also got fired.

Yep. After Stallings forced out by higher ups, Alabama was cursed for a decade. Be careful what you wish for.

Shut up, pussy. You people are the worst kind of fans. Bitch about all the other fans and think you know better because of it.

Les had 11 years here and has gotten progressively worse besides the outlier '12 season with all the NFL talent. The teams have gotten more undisciplined, his record is near .500 in the SEC the last 3 years, and he refuses to enable wholesale changes in his offense. It's time.

STFU

Have you not been paying attention to the last 3 years? Miles has lot it.

So stupid. Get the hire right and you leap forward. Countless other elite programs have done the same thing. Lot of water under the bridge since the 80's and 90's.

Yeah, a top 5 or 6 job in all of college football isn't going to be able to bring someone in.

Lol, go home old man, u drunk.

What are you talking about man. Hall of fame coaches will be lining up to pay LSU to coach. It recruits itself and championships are easy.

Championships are easy huh?

You firing the one guy who brought you one. The other guy is in Tuscaloosa. Other than that LSU hasn't sniffed a title since the 1950's

So much delusion

Except that isn't how it works. There are only a few coaches worth you throwing loads of cash at them, and those few are at schools that will throw it right back.

You have solid coaches like Mullen or Freeze, but the fact there is that they are worth more to us than they are to you. Mullen, for example, just isn't worth 5 mil to LSU, but he is to us because he's proven he can win at our school.

Which leaves you with a lineup of guys like Chip Kelly, who will probably be USC's target, and a handful of up and comers like Memphis's head coach. Hiring coaches isn't easy business, there is a reason you rarely see a "home run" hire.
