I'm with LSU on this. They just ain't got the money. Should we start a Go Fund Me page for them?

It doesn't cover from the lost revenue the local businesses will feel. Here's some numbers. The restaurant I work for makes 60-75k for a home game and might be lucky to make 15k for an away game. That is just one example; is the SEC going to send an employee to each establishment to pay for their lost revenue?

Never said the game should be played in BR, although, it should be played in BR or at a neutral site.

@SheaDixon
Joe Alleva said he suggested #LSU could play the game in an empty stadium on Sunday if #UF couldn't have workers/police for the game.

Why is everyone missing the fact that LSU would have to refund the South Alabama tickets to LSU fans? That is about a $4 million hit.

No, we will not. LSU better not cave to their demands. If Florida doesn't get this game played by Monday it is a Forfeit. That should be the wording in the SEC rule book that if there is no common open date as an alternative, then the home team must make the decision to relocate the game, in time to have it played by Monday. The only exception would be if something hit on the actual day of the game with no warning, which is not the case here.

But it's not a forfeit. Do you want a chance to win the SEC, or a chance to lose to USA? That's LSU's choice now..

Hey, get this through you head, we have a game scheduled this date, we do not want to move this game

Move your Florida/Georgia game to 10-22 this is a Florida problem not a LSU problem. LSU would have agreed to play this game in any stadium in the US and Florida slow played and delayed a decision.

In fact today we will fly into Florida, pick up your team and fly your Florida Gators to any stadium you want and play the game tomorrow. Plenty of time to make this call.

LSU will not cancel their home game on 11-19

Really the most simple solution is to move the SEC title game back one week and play the LSU Florida game on the 1st weekend of Dec.

No one has made plans for this weekend because no one know who is playing this weekend.

If a fan gambled on his team making the SEC title game and booked a room for the fist weekend then he just made a bad bet.

I just do not see why this is not the focus or solution and BAMA fans and Florida fans keep harping on LSU for not wanting to cancel a home game on 11-19.

Why should we cancel senior day for your University's ineptitude and indecisiveness? UF squandered all opportunities presented before them and now expect LSU to cave to their way?

Nope. Enjoy your rough 4 inches of rain.

Are they going to pay the lost revenue from a home game as well? Don't think so

Actually that is not the case. LSU would have needed to know by Wednesday afternoon for arrangements to be made.

This will never happen and it not even close to simple. Essentially you are asking the entire college football world to postpone bowl game invites and make playoff selections.
