I didn't take it as a dig either, as a fan I'm not even sure why we jumped that much. The team that played Friday night looked like a serious contender but the other two games were scary against a last place team. We will see if our bats stay hot this weekend and judge from there...

UK has a huge game at #2 Louisville tomorrow. We'll see how much the Cats have improved since that horrible start.

ACC with 3 of the top 5 and 6 in the top 25 in Coaches. That UofL-UK game tomorrow is must-watch TV, and UNC-USCe is tpo.

You missed Arkansas at 15 in the Coaches.

If I counted right 10 of the top 32 (including RV) of the Coaches is SEC.

Usually we're loaded at the top, but this is some serious depth.

UVa and Miami aren't their usual selves this year and GT is down too, so the ACC isn't as deep as usual.

I think I met him back when TAMU was still in the B12. Seemed like a nice guy.

I've never met him so don't know if he's "nice", but I think he takes his job seriously and that's a big reason they're the go-to for baseball news/analysis. The last several years he may have seemed to have an A&M bias, but A&M was pretty damn good those years. This year... well, A&M isn't ranked now, and probably shouldn't be despite a good weekend.

It'll all work out in May-ish.
