It is a sign of where your team is... If your team is bad, and you have no real expectations for them to get better, then you probably have a rivalry where the fans think “as long as we beat ____ then all is good". But when you have high expectations and your program should be in the hunt every year, then every team that can potentially de-rail your season is a rivalry.

Wow. Indeed. If you really believe this then the Aggies delusion is at an all time high. I and most tiger fans I know really don't respect your team as a legit threat. All the talk on the boards is bluster and generally a response to the ridiculous shite that aggie fans post non stop. If I had one word to describe a&m it would be SOFT. That's just how ur program is perceived. They have won jack shite on the field and have probably the worst return on investment of any team in the league. Always flashing some new gimmick that does nothing to win games. You guys are the full of shite loud mouth little brother that never learns his lesson so no one ever takes you seriously. It's almost as if you believe that you can just talk your way to winning games. I would say I look forward to the game but I'm sure it will be more of the same. Our freshman bulldozing your seniors lol. Not much drama there.

The only place the LSU-A&M super bowl exists is in the mind of LSU fans, and it's the only thing keeping you sane while you watch your team slip into mediocrity.

Honestly LSU should be 4-0 against A&M right now. You're in one of your best runs as a program and we've been in a bad one.
The real story is that your 0-4 against Bama, and you're slipping away from them not getting closer. That game used to be a classic that the whole country tuned in to see. Now it's just a game that LSU fans are fired up about, and another W for Bama fans.

LSU was teetering on the ledge of mediocrity, and the only thing keeping you from falling off the cliff was Chavis. Now you're in free-fall. You'll probably be able to coast with established talent this year, but it's going to get UGLY.
