I would get used to it until 2019.

3 of those in the last 4 yrs were bowl games. Tough losses, but he's getting it done in conference for the most part.

I'd take that in a heart beat

Would Zach Mettenberger be Johnny Manziel in A&M's system...or would Johnny Manziel be Zach Mettenberger in LSU's system?

Manzeil would be on the bench for not adhering to Miles' fricked up offensive schemes. Besides Manzeil would not be stupid enough to play for LSU.
....and ZM would be lunch meat in A&M's system.

LSU fans are way too spoiled. The 90s weren't that long ago.

Of course Les needs to fire the Offensive staff, hire a pro, and get out of the way.
There's two ways to look at last night and L. Miles cant win in either one.
1) The OC called a run play and Les said "throw it". In this case Les should have gotten "out of the way".
2) The OC called the pass plays and Les stayed out of the way and fell on the sword.
In those game situations it's all on the HC. He might not be calling the actual play but he better be the main influence on what "type" of play he wants his team to run. Personally I think Miles is staying out of the way during the final minutes of the games. Why else would it appear that LSU has a complete lack of leadership in critical situations?

And who would you get to replace him?
This is the problem. Firing him would be a huge mistake. I'm starting to feel Georgia's pain.

As I said before...LSU will NEVER win another NC with Les Miles as head coach! Deal with it! And bookmark so I can say told you so later.

We could do better, certainly. But we could also do a lot worse. Odds are that we would probably do worse, but should we take that chance? I don't see any sure fire guys out there who would come to LSU and succeed.

Miles is a good coach.
LSU did not show up motivated and ready to play last night though. That was a pretty solid arse beating Clemson laid on LSU even though they barely won on the last drive.
Guess that falls on Les and staff though. LSU just wasn't prepared well last night and the game meant a lot more to Clemson and Dumbo, or sure looked that way at least.

We are spoiled because we want to win? Get the frick out of here. We just lost to Clemson, the perennial bed shitter of college football. That is embarrassing and we are pissed.

I see Miles somewhat analogous to Chizik. Miles pretty much lucked into a NC in '07 with Saban's players has an outstanding winning percentage due to Chavis' defense. Without Chavis, Miles would be a pretty average coach.
Chavis was at Tennessee in 2007.

The defense wasn't good that year, but there were some offensive leftoves from Jimbo's tenure who could still play.
2007 wasn't that special. LSU lost to Kentucky and Arkansas, both of which were embarrassing. LSU was lucky to be in the NCG.
Since then the offense has gone downhill and relied on defense and special teams. If Chavis ever leaves, LSU is screwed.
