UF fans tried to explain/rationalize that bullshite call at the swamp.

It's not the fans/teams fault if they get a break from the refs. What are they suppose to do, have a fan/coach/player run out on the field and lobby for a call to not go their way?

Gumps have gotten alot breaks, but admitting you got breaks from the refs doesn't mean shite man.

I didn't say that only certain teams get shite calls.

It happens to all of us, all the time. There is a skew to the timing and gravity of bad calls favoring certain programs.

The way of the SEC tends to protect the ones that are churning in dollars. If a game is close, count on the refs fricking the underdog or lesser ranked team.

This. But traditional cash cows. Not the ranked teams at the moment. Hell, we can't even seem to get a close call against OOC with SEC refs.

ETA. Penn Wagers fellates donkey penises at many levels. But when Alabama is involved you know where it's heading.

I never said the officiating didn't have errors but it's not to the extent of other conferences. Errors occur every game for every team. I still stand by my statement that there has never been a negative need story about sec officials. As a matter of fact they just reported last week that the sec officials are the highest paid. They claim that there are NFL officials that will come to the sec because they make more money.

I think if we polled the rant, a certain Auburn game would run away with most egregious example of bad officiating in one team's favor ever.

Similar to the holding call against OJ Howard in the OM game at the end of the game when Bama is driving for the go ahead score. Did it cost Bama the game no, but if what many of you are saying in this thread were true what a perfect time to not call a hold on a player that had his hands inside the shoulder pads.
