We aren't going to beat LSU, but Screw USM

Yesterday was as good of a day as any MSU baseball could have had.
USM won 50 games, hosted a regional, talked Auburn-level shite and got beat by an MSU team being held together by duct tape that had to win four games in 36 hours.
They didn't even show up to the first game, then choked in the second game. The first base ump made four close calls - three went against MSU, but USM fans are jumping over the last one that went against them.
Maybe learn how to catch a fly ball. That was glorious. Good luck LSU in Omaha.

Stop trying to reverse jinx LSU. Beating a team 5 out of 6 games in one year is a tall order, regardless of the opponent. Good luck, and see y'all in BR.

LSU isn't invincible. I get their confidence after what they did in Starkville, but they were playing their best baseball of the year at that time. And this is, after all, still baseball. Anything can happen.

What camera angle do you derive he was safe?
The View from RC showed the ball in glove with leg appearing to still be up in air...View from behind rooker, ball nor glove can be seen.
This is a pure case of the ump made the call on the field and nothing available to overturn it.

Baseball can be random, we had 54 wins in 1989 and lost the regional final to UNC. Then in 2007 we had a 38-win team make it to Omaha.
