The bowls have become useless and will not exist in a few years.

What corporate sponsor wants to sponsor this bullshite product!

As long as gamblers tune in plus each school’s fanbase, it’ll make money.

You and I aren’t the target audience.

Nah. You’ll see a ton of bowls disappear though. It will get to the point that in order to be “bowl eligible” you have to win 7 games. Which I wouldn’t be totally opposed to

Someone had a great idea, have the end of the year bowls, since you want the playoffs, but also have bowls to start the year (maybe the same teams).

I am such sponsors would love to have a double dose

Some mayo company, a cheese-it something, maybe a whacker mole thing or maybe some NERD will sponsor a Marvel's Bowl??

I only get TV service (FUBO) during the season...I won't bother next year.

Keep in mind, the Celebration Bowl had higher ratings than Indiana/Kansas basketball and the Kentucky/UNC bball game barely beat the Los Angeles Bowl. Enough people still watch.

Out of all the dramatic instant overreactions from today, this is definitely one of them!

Did you know they started out like that. They actually decided the national champion before the bowls

Only problem I have with that is you’ll have players from the team that earned that bowl not be able to play in it

The problem with this is if you're a senior (who isn't going to the NFL) on a team that does enough to be eligible for a bowl, you won't get to participate since you'd have graduated.

The answer is to revenue share. Don't get paid if you opt out.

You are seeing rigor mortis set in.

College football officially died with Supreme Court NIL decision.

PAC-12 ceasing to exist was the body going cold after the heartbeat stopped.

Soon there will be a conference-less "Premiere League" of 32 richest programs.

They will play only each other and have playoffs, basically a low-rent NFL.

Many programs will either go extinct or scale way back to DII or DIII status.

Need to win at least 8 games to go bowling! Way too many!

As long as gamblers

Lots of gamblers have begun staying away from bowl games. They’ve become impossible to judge with opt-outs, transfers, and lack of enthusiasm all around for some teams.

Playoffs or bust all around.

Reset the rules and the NCAA to the 90's.

They will definitely have to stop the players from hopping schools year to year for money. Maybe require them to stay so long unless the coach leaves and limit how many times they can transfer. Take the NIL money and pool it and split it to all players evenly.

Blame this on conferences not playing each other in season. All we know before the bowl games is how teams compare to team within their own conferences.

I think it’s a good game.
