I thought one of the foundations of being a good "christian" or any religion was Honesty and maybe hard work. Looks like he's about cutting corners and lying/cheating. As many have said, it was obvious, when overnight they were pulling in so many top flight recruits. Now it's been confirmed.

I am a Christian and this type of stuff, all joking aside, really angers me. Freeze has long been speculated to be the Jimmy Swaggart/Benny Hinn of college football. The last few months, and certainly last night, have removed any and all doubt.

You have to see the overall picture now relative to the politics of Mississippi on national display and the way Freeze has thrown about his supposed "religion".

The nation assumes a negative connotation of judgment by religious zealots relative to Mississippi already. You then throw in the amazing hypocrisy of Freeze.

I saw him speak at my church in person. I came away with two thoughts: (1) If he is real, this fella is really dynamic and someone to support (even if you are not an OM fan); and (2) there was a feeling I chalked up as school bias at the time, that he was full of it.

That day in the pulpit of my church, he talked about running a clean program and how important that is to him.

It turns out that feeling was actually correct.

The two coaches implicated last night (Miller and Farrar) apparently report directly to Freeze (according to local sports radio reports). There is literally no way this man did not know, or even develop and control, what has been going on.

Fellas, in all likelihood, the only new result from Tunsil's stupidity and loose tongue, is a hit in the national spotlight. And that's among those who keep up with this stuff. Most folks have no idea what we are evening discussing on here. What he had to say last night the NCAA probably already knew. Now I'm not spinning that as good news in any way. Cause it ain't. But what it likely is, is affirmation of what many Ole Miss fans probably hoped was not the case but feared it was and that's that Tunsil had already told them plenty to get us ripped of several schollies and possibly even a bowl ban. AGAIN, time will tell. And even that could take forever but in the mean time recruiting is gong to suffer and our program is about to slow down.

Two athletic directors pay one kid, trips, cars, etc. Sounds like this institution has lost some control.
