I'm rooting for auburn just so I get to see the Bama fans swallow their pride and celebrate the championship staying in state as if that validates them I'm some way. That desperation for something to cling to is awesome to behold.

I agree. I think Mizzou has the best and classiest fans. They have some very talented players as well and play some exciting football. They also don't embarrass the SEC like some schools with their ignorant redneck fans.

You seem to be putting Auburn fans in the same category as Bama fans. Auburn fans seem to have a life beyond football while Bama fans rarely do. There is no comparison. You are unlikely to have to protect your trees or have testicles laid on your head from an Auburn fan. They also don't have an ex head coach who takes advantage of his La ties to pursue La players in most underhanded ways (offers players girlfriends full schollys and a job in the coaches office, etc.)

This may be the most balanced Mizzou team I have seen. I don't know that we have a single All-SEC player(maybe 1 or 2). I don't think we have the best passing game. We don't have the best rushing game. We don't have the best pass defense. We don't have the best rush defense. But this team is pretty good at it all and has very few holes, outside of our kicker.

Honestly, while I really am hesitant to do this, I need to recant on my past stance. I was a staunch anti-mizzou guy and really thought the conference shorted itself but Missouri has adapted well. I have really been impressed with their increased physicality and Pinkel has also done real well.
I still think you're a bunch of yankee SOBs and I really wish Georgia had played Mizzou before UT Nick Marshall'd our ACLs but I want to concede that Mizzou has proven it's merit and I was wrong in thinking they'd never compete. Not saying I think yall will sustain it but then again I am taking baby steps here
