I would agree with you most seasons, but the Lords of Birmingham were unable to swap your date in Athens with LSU this time.

You may even win that game, but the wear and tear is bound to trip you up.

And for the record, I really wasn't sure who I was pulling for last night as an LSU fan.

Still don't know.

I'm OK with this. Ohio State stomps Alabama's arse easily. Ole Miss or LSU, I'm not sure yet.

Ohio St. needed an INT return for a TD to beat Northern Illinois 20-13.

They also lost to 7-6 Virginia Tech last season. Didn't help you then either.

Last night we saw 2 fairly even teams, with one team making more plays.

However , why do either of you assume that you can beat or the other will lose to OSU or LSU , etc. The fact remains that neither of you have beaten anyone to this point. And the assumption that Ole Miss is great after last nights win , is just that an assumption.

2 weeks ago every one was sure that Auburn was the favorite to win the SEC and was a playoff contender, 14 days later? Not so much.

Last December we were told that the Sec W was the greatest division in college football, the 9th division of the NFL, even though they had beaten no one outside of their division, then came the bowl games... Silence or excuses.

Alabama and Ole Miss are good football team, so are LSU, UGA, and TexAm, and this thing is far from settled. And for Bama fans to think they will make it back or Ole Miss to think they have won it, is absurd. 3 years ago , thee was a huge separation between Bama and everyone else. Today? Not at all! There are 14 teams in this conference and if you don't show up to play your A game you will get beat.

Nothing has been settled this whole thing I'll look different come the end of October and you might b surprised who is in the drivers seat.

Great post. I remember when Ohio State was unbeatable and unanimous #1. Three games later, not so much.

Bama isn't winning shite with their current QB situation. I can see them losing several more games.

alabama will, imo, go 11-1/10-2 if they can play football on the road. we'll find out. they had communication problems at home.

people are underestimating that defense imo

The difference is that Bama has been shown to be vulnerable very early in the season. That hasn't been the MO of Bama teams that drop one and still wind up in Atlanta. Beyond that, you've been shown to be vulnerable and still have several very good teams to play (it's not like you've reached the soft spot of your schedule).

You never dissapoint Juice. What happens now is you better hope you get some miraculous play from one your quarterbacks, and your front seven stays healthy. Bama will need all of this and more.
Good luck - can't wait.
