Pretty quiet week in the SEC for contenders on this list.
As always, this list chronicles the top SEC running backs by production on the field to date for the current season. Objective statistics are the primary criteria utilized in formulating this list, however, the statistics are set into context based on the quality of opponent upon which the statistics were accumulated. In some instances where the choice is close, a subjective eye test is also taken into account. Hype, injuries, suspensions, etc. are not considered. This isn't a list of most talented or a prediction of NFL draft status. It is just an unbiased look at which 5 SEC RB's are getting the job done the best on the field.
1. Mike Davis - DNP, held his spot.
2. Tre Mason - Leading the league in rushing and TDs. DNP, held his spot.
3. TJ Yeldon - DNP. Dropped out of a tie with Mason as a correction for last week's rankings. Mason is ever so slightly ahead and there will be no ties for the final rankings.
4. Todd Gurley - Another impressive performance by Gurley. Moves up one spot.
5. Jeremy Hill - Solid game against a weak defense. Not a lot of separation between spots 2-5 on this list.
Just missed the list:
Honestly, there is no one else with a solid argument to be on the list.

If we're only going off of this week, McGee > Hill

WDE24 realizes that Mason is a system RB. Points deducted for that.

Henry Josey is easily a top 5 RB.
But I do know this list isn't about talent, simply a rehash of useless statistics. So, great list OP.

So despite being outmatched in that category, you feel he should be ranked higher based on his overall production right?

I don't see the one thing that pisses somebody off in this weeks list. I'm disappointed.
