IIRC, UT is losing every starter on both lines

We do. IMO 3 out of the 5 OL hit the NFL and we lose 2 to graduation.

Like Robert Goulet said, I don't think the O-Line will be the biggest issue next year.
The incoming guys are a JR, RS JR, RS JR, RS JRorSO, and then a RS SR or 2 RS FR to cap off the starting 5. The depth and maturity are there to hold up.

The DL is what everybody is questioning

Nope just the way I see it. My 1 2 and 3 could be switched into any order and 4 and 5 could swap too. That is why we play the games. Btw nice to know we still got that rent free space in your head.

Yeah, I'm totally concerned about the forthcoming 5 loss school from College Station. Really eats at me.

Bill Hancock said the selection committee will try to avoid rematches if possible

"Hancock spoke to the Football Writers Association Of America. He says the top priority of the selection committee will be to make sure the No.1 plays close to home and the teams are properly seeded."

Hancock says seeding adjustments will only be made if teams are considered even

Sorry, they are one year wonders. The West will come down to LSU and Bama.

Barring some cultural, Gene Chizik shite, Auburn will likely be better next year. Of course, that doesn't mean they'll play for titles, but I expect a better D, a QB more well versed with the playbook, a similar ground game and a year more experience for a lot of skill players.

Meaning the culture around the program goes to hell and talent is wasted. I don't anticipate anything like that, but going from Auburn vs. the world to being a top 5 preseason team will be a challenge for Gus as far as how he manages the team's emotions and expectations.

AU will contend and might be the favorite. I think it will be between AU and LSU for the West.

Mizzou to me is the east favorite. South Carolina has the coaching and UGA the talent to contend and UT could make a run.

The West will be wild.

as to Auburn, What got Auburn to being where they were was the offseason and the bye weeks to work with Marshall. it'll be interesting to see how they respond to blowing the lead in the bcs ncg while out playing fsu statistically.

I would hate to think 2 teams from same conference in a playoff. With all the previous bitching. If it were the case, the sec needs to cut out their conference championship game.

A one loss Alabama is almost a lock for the four team playoff even if they do not win the west. Nick Saban has earned that respect and that will be the case going forward until he is gone.

How I see the SEC West:
Auburn 32% chance of winning
Alabama 30% chance of winning
LSU 30% chance of winning
Another West Team 8% chance of winning.

The East I see
UGA 33%
USC 30%
Mizzou 30%
Another East Team 7%

I could see flip-flopping State and OM dependent on whose QB plays better. I think Wallace will have a better year...but Prescott is amazing.

We finished 18th in the country and 4th in the SEC in Total Defense- we return 19 of our 22 on the 2 Deep defensively.

Last 4 games after everyone got healthy and Bennie Brown took over at LB:

Held Bama to 20 points- their lowest output in 2013
Held UPig to 17 points at their place after they had 2 weeks to get ready for us
Held the best offense in Ole Miss history to 3 points
Held 10 win Rice to less than 200 yards of offense

Defense really has a chance to be special in 2014.
