The one that is NOT your mom, because...she's not thin at all...she's FAT...

Nice one, me.

Mainly O line. Also LB to a lesser extent. Expecting Dline to drop off just a little.

To be honest, we're like this every offseason. People should be used to it by now. I'm just going with the flow.

LSU has a favorable schedule and returns 16 starters from a VERY young team last year. New coaches on the defensive side and a new influx of hungry talent. The recruiting class from last year was ranked #2 and they are all growed up.

5th in the West?

Um, no.

Steele is a competent coach/DC. Saban would not have had him around if he wasn't. And, he has more talent than he has ever had as a Coordinator. Defense will be very good next year.

QBs will be better next year. They can't be any worse.
RBs will be sick.
OLine will be very good.
Receivers are incredibly talented and will now be seasoned.

I see LSU as a 10-2 type team next year. Very, very solid.

Tennessee has a pretty favorable home/road split

Home : UGA. Arky, Vandy, USCe
Road : Bama, UF, UK, Mizzou

I could see them going 3-1 at home and 2-2 on the road. 5-3 and 9-3 or 8-4 overall depending on OU game.

It's definitely doable.

The entire SEC west is a big crapshoot except for last place.

Sorry, Ole Miss.

I think State is more likely to finish last than Ole Miss. And they could be a solid team.

I am ok with the rankings although I would place Georgia at #1 and then UT

UGA has that beast at RB, kid is simply put impressive. He stays away from injury and I think they contend for top spot in SEC and 4 team NC playoff spot

I'm picking LSU 7th in the West next year. I thought he was being generous.

Will be interesting to see what UGA does without Bobo...

5. LSU This is a team that can be much much better than where I've placed them. But losing Chavis is gonna make things tougher. Obviously they cleaned up today, but I think Miles has lost his touch. I will say I have no confidence in this pick.

I will not argue too much on a preseason poll but LSU is pretty loaded this year. It all depends on the QB play. Either Harris comes in and shines or LSU transforms to a read option squad and fades into obscurity - that is not their bread and butter.

I will say I don't understand your #3 prediction for aTm. The only thing they have done since they entered the league is birth Johnny "College" Football. It will take Chavis a year or two to get the Ags tuned up.

Agree. I just don't trust LSU as a serious 10-11 win SECW winning type team until I see the QB thing stabilize.

I think the 2 most conservative picks to win the division are Alabama and Auburn, but I think LSU could make a run at it. The other 4 will win some games and beat some people they shouldn't, but I don't trust them to win 7 games in the conference.

I'm really wary of the Arkansas thing.

I think SC will be dead last this season. They lost more players than I realized and obviously Spurrier's comments hurt their recruiting. Pretty weird they could go from be ranked no. 4 in the final poll one season to be dead last in their conference two years later.

Agreed with both of y'all.

P.S.
And I put the Rebs at the bottom mostly for fun and lulz. Such a shiny hook. But they will for sure finish in the bottom half of the division.

I'd agree, except Vandy. No animosity towards the gamecocks though. And I'll give them the benefit of the doubt over Kentucky.

Is Kentucky's QB back? He seemed pretty solid most of the seasoan.
