4 of them headed to Kentucky, one to Bama.
Still a few undecided on the rosters.

Saban fired a cancer survivor though.

If we could get Knox and Bamba, all of our MCDAA's would be on the east team.

Why do you hate cancer survivors?

I saw that.
We thought one of ours up in NJ was gonna make the team but he just missed. We would have been thrilled to have two on the same team.
ETA: We've only had four in our history ... which is probably as many as anyone in the league with the exception of Kentucky and Florida I would guess.

I know Gottfried alone had 4 at Bama. Sexton will be a for sure 5th.

Seriously? LSU has had 17 Mcdonald's AA
Posted on 1/16/17 at 1:46 am to tigerbait2010
Arky's had to have had a few too right?
Posted on 1/16/17 at 1:51 am to RTR America
I just google'd. Arkansas has had 14 MCD AA's.
Yeah, I would think the Cocks are well behind at least half the conference in Mcdonald's AA

Wow ... had no idea.
Knew about a few of them ... but 17 at LSU?
Name them.
I remember the first game, it was in '77 or '78 so that would be what, 39-40 years of games?
Having had 17 would be well above the national average.
How many National Championships were won with all those great players? I remember Stanely Roberts being one of them ... he should have never left Columbia. But with him and Shaq on the same team LSU were what, national runner ups that year? That was two of the greatest college big men on the same team.
And yeah, I would think Arkansas would have had quite a few too.
I apologize if I offended you tigerbait2010 ... snowflake. I bow to LSU basketball's greatness.
shite never ends.

Is Schea counted in that?

Then that is for sure one more than the Gamecocks.
Perry Dozier
BJ McKie
Rolando Howell
P.J. Dozier
That's our four.
Kentucky fans couldn't begin to name all of theirs.
Florida fans may be able to name all of theirs.
tigerbait2010 has already proven he can't name all of theirs.
Arkansas fans can probably name all of theirs off the top of their heads.
Mizzou fans ... any Micky D's AAs?
A&M?
I know Georgia has had at least a couple I can think of myself. Caldwell-Pope, Dominique, that Green kid out of Mississippi, and there are probably others I'm forgetting.

You're significantly underselling LSU's underachievement. That team also had Chris Jackson. And lost the SEC to Alec Kessler and Laterial Green of the university of Georgia.

They got bounced in the 2nd round. LSU has never been a national runner up in the NCAA basketball tournament. They're 0-4 in the Final Four (1953, 1981, 1986, 2006)

We've been supremely underachieving when we have some of the greatest players here, but then in years we have more of whole team seem to make the deeper runs.
Chris Jackson
Shaq
Ben Simmons
None of those 3 ever made it past the 2nd round of the NCAAT here. Simmons didn't even make the tournament.
Shaq, Chris Jackson, Geert Hammink, Wayne Sims and Stanley Roberts were all on the same team 1 season.
