They really need to make a sequel to that movie. Make the coach the AD, Caine the coach, the black lb the DC and Lattimer the LB coach. Omar Epps could be the OC and HB could play his wife.

I'm surprised the NCAA let them use real teams with the steroids, shady coach, and things that went on in the movie. I know a lot of it goes on, but would think the NCAA would make them do the Any Given Sunday thing. I really like the movie though.

I don't think the NCAA can tell the schools how they use their trademarks/image. The schools that were included (Iowa, GT, MSU, etc.) probably didn't mind collecting a check as long as they weren't depicted as doing those things.
I also remember Coach Winters saying "NC2A" instead of "NCAA"

I always got the feeling that Lattimer was supposed to be the movie version of the Boz.
