Plays like that, in moments like that, are what makes oneself crap oneself uncontrollably (don't ask me about what happened during Lindsey Scott in 1980

I I wasn't laughing at him because I thought he looked dumb or anything. Hell, my reaction was close too that. I was truly in a state of shock though. Sort of an indescribable feeling really

Yeah, every Aubie gets a pass at that point. The ones you really have to watch are the folks who were on the losing side. They's likely to go crazy and do some harm.
Given the magnitude of the situation, I thought the Tiders were pretty level-headed all things considered. Except one or two, perhaps.

Oh it was definitely sung by those around me and I think I remember hearing the band play it pretty clearly. Sounded pretty loud and filled with emotion too.

It's funny that other teams try to play Rammer Jammer the few times that Alabama has been beat over the past couple of years. You don't see Alabama alums rolling Denny Chimes when we beat Auburn.

I remember one time The AUMB made an ad for the fact they raised 11 million dollars for their new facility calling themselves the new million dollar band.
I researched and found that 1 million dollars adjusted for inflation from 1925 is 11 million and then some. That whole band is loaded with tools I knew in high school. But that trumpet professor is a god among men.

It's not like it's original to UA, so the "rolling Denny Chimes" thing really isn't comparable. AU changes the words, so their version is just as original as UA's, in not at all.

Only thing I find more amazing about how quickly they snap into playing and are all business was the UGA play
Our PA announcer said in a very dead voice within like two seconds of the catch "touchdown by Ricardo Louis" or something like that

Now let's tell that story the way it actually happened:
The Auburn music department and athletics department announced plans to build an $11 million marching band facility, so the Crimson & White ran a front-page story calling the AUMB the "11 Million Dollar Band" in an attempt to draw up some support for a facility of their own.

If Alabama had won like that I would have been gone sugar bowl mom in the stands without the punching.
