If Miles doesn't win the west, he's fricking done.
Those were the expectations for this year based on the returning starters/the amount of experienced talent and high paid staff.
He didn't want to change the offense in the offseason and what you are seeing now is his "oh shite moment" by playing Etling and trying to get the offense to adapt. Too little too late.
If his job was safe, I think he would still be trotting Harris out there at QB because that's how stubborn he is.
If he doesn't win the West this year, then what are the odds he does it next year when all the JRs and SRs leave?

I kinda agree but Miles future at LSU is still in dire jeopardy. If he lose to Ole Miss. Alabama, and Arkansas it's over for Miles.

Would certainly be ironic, no doubt.
That said, Miles is done at LSU, this is his last year as HC. The only way he keeps his job is by getting to Atlanta and/or the CFB playoff. Anything short of that, even with a win over Bama, and 2016 will be his last at LSU.
Bet anyone that will take the bet $5,000 that Miles will not be our coach next year if he doesn't make it to Atlanta.

This is what I don't get.. State dominated us in '14 and we came back to make the score look a lot better. LSU did the same thing this week and everyone says we are shite and almost lost to a garbage State team. What's the difference?
