I'm not old and I think the same way. My husband was givin scholarships to play football at a few colleges his junior year of high school. His senior year a woman ran a red light and fliped his car and tore his right shoulder pretty much straight from the socket. He was a defensive tackle, so college was no longer an option. Some people just take it for granted, it's a shame.
