I hate Bama as much as anyone, I live in Alabama, but I hear Oregon and some other teams may get consideration for a loss without a star player. Center is about a important as it gets. Or maybe they're getting that consideration and that is why no one cares that Ole Miss beat them.

I think they lost him in the 3rd qtr - just when Mississippi fans said they 'made adjustments' that shut Bama's running game down.

Coincidence...?

No one cares because the SEC-west will sort itself out.

Auburn vs Alabama
Auburn vs Ole Miss
Auburn vs Georgia
Alabama vs MSU
Alabama vs LSU
MSU vs Ole Miss

He was out for the 2nd half at Ole Miss and the whole game at Arkansas.

That's right. It's was against Arkansas he was out.

You just gave them their new excuse for why they lost.

We also had to blown 2 timeouts to stop delay of game penalties thanks to the new center, and deal with low snaps the rest of the game.

But those are just bullshite excuses, Christon Jones needs to stop f'ing fumbling and OJ Howard needs to stop holding.

There is no greater adjustment than looking across the field and seeing Lane Kiffin roaming the sidelines.

They will have another excuse without Cam Rob in two weeks.

I think it is interesting that Herbie has harped numerous times on this as an excuse for oregon when they lost to Arizona and he had them above Bama in his "poll" last week.

Like it's been mentioned though, none of it matters. If Bama wins out they're in the playoff. If they lose again, they aren't. Simple as that

I bet he had to join the Cade Foster Memorial Support Group.

And also gave an excuse to the Ole Miss loss since our starting center didn't play at all.

We lost him during the game... had to put in a rsFr then ole miss became amazingly better at stopping the run... in all actuality Kiffy got too apprehensive and went away from the run thinking we couldn't.. Yeldon still avg about 6 a carry tho... wish we would have kept it up... all that being said 3 td drives totaling 41yds because of turnovers by special teams was the real culprit.. NOT Ole misses superD.

Backup center doesn't know he is eligible to hold I bet.

Trying to give Ole Miss excuses is as ineffective as fans trying to teach physics to Sir Isaac Newton. You can't teach the master.
