If you were to rank the 12 playoff teams so far, Washington would be 12th. Alabama played a horrible game and still beat them comfortably.

Clemson by 7-10. UW is really good but Watson and Williams are a great combo. Would've been neat to watch since UW had a very good d too

Yeah, I'd definitely bet on Clemson winning.
However, Washington is a bit better than some people are crediting.
Alabama's QB didn't have a great game but much of that was due to Washington being pretty good on defense until Alabama finally they wore them down late in the game.
Clemson would have to bring their "A game" to beat them. Washington would win them if they played like they did against much of their schedule this year, especially if Watson wasn't taking care of the ball.
