Facts. Generally a very weak conference overall.

They have 4 teams in the top 12 almost every single year.

It's damn near impossible to have a serious conversation here; but hopefully that person is just trolling.

I could see Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State making it almost every season (with Penn State being near the bottom, but they do tend to go 10-2 every year). Michigan has just won, we'll see how they do post-Harbaugh, and we'll see how Washington does now that DeBoer is gone. And yeah, it wouldn't be a shocker if Wisconsin got back to that level too.

I’d say 70% of the time 4 of those teams are top 12 going forward

For example

2023- big would have had 5 teams
2022-4 teams
2021-3 teams
2019-4 teams
2018-4 teams
2017-5 teams

This would have been drawing from a pool of 26 teams (12 Big 12 = 14 B1G).

The Cupcake Win equation with 18 teams is going to drop.

They may get four some years, but not at the expense of SEC teams with the same record.
