Going in to this game I think he had a legit shot but he didn't really have a good game until the final drive. He still could win it but I don't think this game helped his chances.

no. he is in the second tier of candidates not the first.

Meh...its possible. But there is still a lot of football left. If he plays good the rest of the season, and UA wins out, by the time the voting comes around, all most of the voters will remember is "the drive" and the fact that he has only lost one game in two seasons and led UA to back2back BCS championships. And he's likely to at least get an invite to NYC.


That being said, if UA doesn't play better next week, aTm is likely to beat our arse and it won't matter anyway.

All I care about is that he stays healthy the rest of the season and keeps on winning ball games. Anything else is just gravy.
