D did a good job on him, but were obviously gassed late in the game...pretty much what Bama wanted.

I was shocked how little they ran him and how little he was in the game. He was the most talented player on the field but seemed to be used very sparingly. Thanks in advance for any information.

I don't know how correct I will be in saying this, but I think that McElwain knew that LSU would be looking for TR more and so they swapped it up and relied on the passing game more. I think they ran a lot of our same plays we have ran all year, but just mixed up the formations and brought more people in motion to throw your defense off. I could be wrong though.

20 rushes 96 yards net 11 yards receiving with the only TD of the night.

Lsu's D is legit and did a great job stacking the box. I think if he had broken outside, he could have gotten more yardage on several occassions, but Lsu was playing the run all the way for the entire game.

Bama was really pretty balanced in the play calling. The passing game was just really successful and made it look like that's all we did.

Passing 34 attempts for 234 yds
Rushing 35 attempts for 150 yds

Hey man. What game did you watch? They didn't need TR because AJ went in dry without the courtesy of a reach around.
