Day Eight Of The Butt Hurt continues as Alabama fans continue with The Coping Process through psychological deflection, aware that they are only hours away from watching two other teams compete for a championship.

I met with clients yesterday, husband and wife, she Auburn he Alabama. When I brought up the game today, she shot me one of those "don't go there" looks. I fought the urge to go Full douche bag and changed the topic. He looked like he'd been beaten by a pillowcase of pool balls.
I'm not one for staying miserable over football GAMES. Games. Like Fun and GAMES.

aTm > Bama was pretty fun to watch last year
Oh and LSU > aTm twice is nice
Winning the SECCG in 2011 was nice
So AU > bama is like 5th for me

I really have thoroughly been enjoying the melts though. This one included. Only thing better would be for AU or bama to backdoor in and lose.

I enjoyed the F out of the Iron Bowl this year. 
It was a thing of beauty. Saban out-coached and Bama out-played. Best thing since the A&M/LSU game this year.

I get all Crazy Happy when LSU wins. But when they lose I just move on. That was a conscious decision, made many years ago. It's almost like you are tempting fate to show you what REAL sadness/stress/loss is.
This is the part of our lives that is supposed to be fun. I TOTALLY get Auburn fans screaming for joy and running around the room, but you have to handle defeat gracefully from a PSYCHOLOGICAL perspective. You have to be emotionally intelligent enough to not attempt to TRANSFER your psychological discomfort onto others . All this Bama OBSESSION about LSU people being happy (it would be IRRATIONAL if LSU fans were not happy) is 100% coping mechanism.
