Wanna know why LSU's been getting kicked in the nuts by Alabama lately?

It's all because of Les Miles....in a different way than you may think. In fact, he doomed LSU twice in a row from 2011-2012 with his own words.
If you'll recall, back in 2011 after the 9-6 game, The Hat said something to the effect of "I'd be honored to play that team again." And of course, all you corndogs remember what happened next:
Fast-forward to the actual 2012 football season. SCAR comes into the Death Valley highly ranked and gets beat by LSU in dramatic fashion. Shortly after the game, Miles proclaims that Death Valley is the place where "dreams go to die."
The VERY NEXT HOME GAME.....LSU's dreams die in their own stadium on a last minute TD by Yeldon:
That's two games in less than a year that Miles has fricked you guys over because of that mouth of his. The other two games I can only attribute to LSU just sucking.
So you better hope Leslie doesn't say anything stupid before the Alabama game. Otherwise, it's an automatic Crimson Tide win.

I would suggest it is more related to #1 ranked recruiting classes and good coaching coupled with a break or two going the Bama way upon which they capitalized.

Yeah, dickhead. It was Miles' fault that Matthieu was suspended and his replacement allowed that TD in 2012.

Loston was notorious for taking bad angles looking for a big hit. But the defensive call put him in a position to have to run at an angle and in a hurry that is prone for getting juked.
