My biggest complaint with Springdale is that it looks like shite. And I've lived there off and on for about half my life. The contrast between Springdale and Fayetteville is like night and day.

Fayetteville's billboards went away in the early 1980s. They were banned and removed. Signs were capped at 30'.
Fayetteville has had heavy landscape requirements and commercial design standards since the early 1990s, that's why Target and the hospital parking lots look like forests.
Springdale is just now starting to implement some of that type of stuff over the past 6-7 years. HarBer is master-planned, so it has the best feeling of any part of town. I believe downtown Springdale will actually become cool enough to mention in the next 4 years.

My wife is very into downtown retail development and "placemaking." She's obsessed with spinning off a concept in Springdale because she loves the up and coming vibe and feels that it's about to become the "hip" place to be in the next 5 or so years. I totally respect her opinion and think she's probably right (as she usually is on these things), but I told her to find someone else's money to use. Hah.

If we could only play your pathetic schedule every year we could be like you pretenders with 10 wins every year.

I visited the Fayetville area for the first time last week. It's a natural beautiful area. I like the hills, and rivers, and lakes. Never knew about the area before then. You have a nice area hog fans
