We are fantastic at what we do. Dude was handed a budget and said lets take some from me to pay for some of the best assistants in the country. Be nice to see the CEOs of the world take a little less pay to help other department heads. It is a better long term vision. Dude still has to prove he can head coach. I think he gets a nice raise and bonus built into next year's extension after we win the national championship

i agree with it... if you pay your underlings better it makes the job more attractive allowing you to hire the best. The best managers make the CEO's job much easier. plus they usually get some nice stock options as deferred comp. We are betting on future performance. He'll get his when he demonstrates it.
