I think I may be misinterpreting "power rankings." I reason power rankings are different from overall rankings in that it's more a measure of who's playing strong football right now. Not a who beat whom way earlier in the season. I guess I just always thought power rankings were more recency based and can change pretty drastically week to week (at least more so than overall ranking). Hence the reason I put LSU over Bama in my rankings. I don't think LSU should be ranked higher than Bama in the overall rankings, but I do think when you look at how each team ended the season, LSU gets the nod for a higher power ranking. I could be just interpreting that very differently from others.
