That's blatantly false. Fulmer used to rail about it and it's not gotten any easier as the academic side wants to make us a top public uni. (I know this first hand as an academic and while I can't reveal grades and never would, let's just say I never went easy on any athlete - ever). Now... compared to UGA we have fewer drankin' problems but that's due to your policy which is over the top. Not that KPD/KCSO doesn't loooove arresting our players but we aren't as harsh on first time drinkers or mj smokers despite being harsher than most.

I don't know that losing 10-9 constitutes getting "that arse beat". That begs the question...what is the appropriate point spread to where the use of "arse beat" is appropriate? It certainly is >1.

Prof, you have lost your mind if you think UT has ever given a shite about academics. Fulmer had kids in South Florida go to makeshift high schools to get their grades up so they could qualify.
Now if they have changed their tune lately I will stand corrected, but the only school worse than you guys historically is FSU on being able to get kids admitted.
