You claimed to get Alabama Tennessee tickets easily for a decade by paying $100 bucks for 3 games and no donation.

I have no idea if he's telling the truth or not, but if he is he wasted his money. I bought tix on the secondary market in '08 and '12 and paid less than half of face value. When UT faceplants it's like a liquidation sale.

He spends half his time trolling VN while pretending to be the unbiased observer. It's quite a setup.

Were they not top 10 in attendance the last 10 years?

2009 - 96.8% (3,279 empty seats per game)
2010 - 97.4% (2,664 empty seats per game)
2011 - 92.4% (7,787 empty seats per game)
2012 - 91.4% (8,811 empty seats per game)
2013 - 93.3% (6,865 empty seats per game)
2014 - 97.4% (2,664 empty seats per game)
2015 - 98.2% (1,844 empty seats per game)

So yea, they were desperate to get that additions 6-8K in the door.

They literally can't afford to compete with the big money programs like A&M when it comes to stadium capacity/upkeep/renovations. Fact.

Yup. Definitely hard times.

My parents prefer to get it out of the way ahead of time.

Not the way I go about it, but some people would rather pay more and not worry than wait for a deal.

Nobody is saying Tennessee people quit showing up at games en masse. Still had pretty solid attendance through the down years. Not great, but the stadium is ginormous, nobody would keep having 103K show up every game.
