VOLS, what happened with Dontavius Blair?

Saw where he and another Tennessee player were looking to transfer. IIRC, Dontavius Blair was down to Auburn and Tennessee in his recruitment. He surprisingly chose Tennessee after growing up in Anniston, AL and playing with Nick Marshall at Garden City Juco.

Headed to Division 2 to try and play his final year. He just never got it going while he was here and ended up getting buried on the depth chart despite his size and age.

Never played here. Was behind Kerbyson who just graduated, Kendrick (RS Jr), Chance Hall (So) last year and now Drew Richmond who redshirted last year has passed him on the depth chart as well.
Seemed like it just never clicked for him. Was good depth but don't blame him for transferring.

By far the biggest bust Butch has signed so far. He never could crack the two deep even when we had turnstiles at tackles. Gave it one more shot this spring and still couldn't make a move up the depth chart.
He's graduated iirc and VQ's said he's dropping down for playing time.

Not athletic enough to play tackle and was passed by better players. It didn't help that he wasn't in good shape when he got here and was rumored that he couldn't even bench 225.

He's actually been a running joke among many Vol fans... simply because of the fact that he was hyped so much coming out of JUCO, but for two years couldn't even crack a two deep that consisted entirely of mediocre OT's, and that's putting it very nicely.
