And Danny O'brien was dismissed from the team for failing a drug test he received shortly after his injury last week. So in a way you can say he had a season ending injury.

Is JRM out for the season? Does he try to get a medical RS for this year and play next year, or does he just go to the draft?

Who came up with this? It's not like colleges have to list an injury report like NFL teams are required to.

Sapp and JRM are both out for the season. Sapp will get a RS and JRM will go to the draft.

It's at home so there's no limit on the travel roster. And we have the student section.

What's the deal with Hurd? Some UT friends of mine said he said something to Butch like "you need me" after Butch chewed him out after that fumble against Georgia so Butch didn't even let him make the trip to A&M. Is that true or is it an injury?

Reporters can't report on who attends practices as a way of revealing who might be injured (tho sometimes they will report that a player missed one for class or something like that) and they can't report if someone is injured there etc. They do report obvious injuries that happen during games. However, not all injuries are fully disclosed and he gives out the least amount of info possible.
Basically, if the injury is already public knowledge then it's ok to talk about/report. If it's not already public knowledge then you're not supposed to disclose it or talk about it.

If he said that he's looking really stupid after what Kelly and Kamara did last week. But in all seriousness, I don't believe he actually said anything like that (the rumor that he got mouthy was floated when he sat during the UGA game but I don't think there was anything to it). Hurd had a lower body injury but I believe that sometime during the UGA game he also sustained a minor concussion that he hid from the staff.
I think they knew something was wrong and thought he needed a rest and/or had his bell rung when they sat him but I don't believe he was forthcoming about any concussion symptoms because he wanted to play.
Note: that's my speculation on the situation.
