Wildtchapatabga or whatever his name is kept asking for data to back up OOC scheduling strength and so I compiled an analysis that showed exactly that and since then He disappeared

I also glanced over the OOC scheduling for the 90s and I'm pretty sure we beat them in that span too

Yeah, having shite to do on the weekend is for pussies, right?
Your analysis was flawed. First of all "since 2000"
Second of all, TCU averages 11-2 per season from 2005-2012, LSU puts them on the schedule for 2013, TCU proceeds to go 4-8 in 2013, then recovers to go 12-1 in 2014, yet you want to give LSU credit for SCHEDULING a 4-8 team? That season was an anomaly for TCU.
That's a flawed analysis for scheduling tough OOC.
I remain unconvinced that Tennessee has historically scheduled substantially tougher OOC competition than LSU.

According to most LSU fans, college football started in 2000.

Link?
I started LSU in '83, I remember Jones to Davis in '72, and losing to Tulane in '73. I grew up 3 blocks away from Tulane Stadium. I remember watching fireworks over the stadium for Super Bowls and Sugar Bowls from our back porch.
ETA: Oh yeah, and Cannon SCORED!

Other teams have scheduled tough OOC competition and not gotten near the hype as UT.
It's more of UT's PR truck delivering pablum to the masses.
For example, LSU has played Notre Dame more than any other SEC school, yet there's never a mention of LSU's OOC scheduling.
Tennessee has got to be the most over-rated, over-hyped program in the SEC.
LSU has also played twice as many FCS teams as UT (since inception of Division 1-AA in 1978).
