I think it's real...but one of the Vols would know better than I would.
Part of me hopes it's real...and part of me hopes for the sake of the cool Vol fans that it's a cruel joke.

Wow.. it's so generic. It could be worse but it has the opportunity to be so much better without much more effort. It's the personification of Butch himself.
Although as a side note I'm still hopeful Kentucky has abandoned the stupid coal whistle on third down.

Maybe but 5 to 6 figures is nothing to Vol Football. If the fans hate it enough they'll pull it. If fans don't complain or accept it then it'll stick.

Yeah that is annoying. So is Vandy's Foghorn. I'm all for teams repping in-state traditions and UK *does* need to give a shout out to Eastern KY given you're openly celebrating the other regions but the coal sound is awful, imo.

This is just terrible. Maybe I'm in the minority but I am a big fan of 3DFW when used correctly. When timed right, 3DFW would put Neyland in an absolute froth.

If it means less Rocky Top, I'm all for it.
But when you think about it, the team's performance the last few years has reduced the playing of RT a pretty good bit.
