With future games against Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Arizona State again. They also keep saying there's going to be a big OOC opponent next year too. They're keeping it under wraps for now.

Did you say last 14 years on purpose?
Cause 15 years ago was 1998.
In '98, UT opened the season against Donovan McNabb and Syracuse at the Carrier Dome (they were a top 25 team. Not a great opponent, but not horrible, either.

you can find individual seasons, where other teams have played tougher OOC match ups. But the Vols are definitely near the top in terms of year in, year out quality scheduling.
I am not sure why you are bragging about this. Playing one tough OOC opponent is not really worth patting yourself on the back, considering how the people who negotiated the schedule were so bad at all the other administrative duties.
But hey, Go Mike Hamilton I guess.

Always good to play a strong OOC if you are UT, need to get used to the feeling of losing games before you get into conference play.

Sammy TN beat Miami in 2003 the year after they went to their second straight national title game and broke a 20 something home win streak.
You are dumb.
You are dumb.

Who cares? The Vols are completely irrelevant these days.
