That hit was not clean. Lead with the helmet to the thigh Used to be called spearing, If the Bama turd was in the NFL, he'd have been fined this week.

I laugh my arse off at people who think Bert isn't a damn good coach. We might not beat bama but they don't demolish half our team like they do everyone else we're a physical tough arse team. We came out the game with 1 WR with a back bruise and he caught a TD saturday.

LSU been using the "oh we play Arkansas right after lsu" excuse for the last 2 years. Arkansas's record last 2 years after playing bama? 2-0.

That many injuries, that's a strength and conditioning problem.

Kamara had started to pull up, as he had already stepped out of bounds.

Tell me this...when did you ever see Ingram or Richardson just run out of bounds? Never. They lowered their shoulder and took on the tackler. I remember Kiffin's first game at UT and Bryce Brown just ran out of bounds, and Kiffin chewed his arse. If the RB takes on the contact, he's far less vulnerable and less likely to get hurt. So you can also blame an injury like this on coaching.

I just watched the hit. No question it was a penalty, and while I think that you always make the tackle there whether the guy is pulling up or not, going for the legs like that was shitty and in some instances could be construed as intentionally trying to hurt someone.

There are so many retarded haters in here. The gif above this post proves it was a great hit.

The hit was on his hip. Watch the gif that was posted before your post.

I don't think it should have been a penalty. Kamara isn't even out of bounds when he starts to make the tackle, and contact is made before he is even technically out of bounds.

That gif clearly shows that. With someone like Kamara who is extremely hard to bring down, I don't see how, as a player, you refrain from attempting that tackle, especially seeing as how Holcombe was literally the last line of defense before an open trot to the endzone.

And if Holcombe had hit Kamara with his head you might have a point.

And I'm guessing Bert doesn't coach them to dart out of bounds at the last second to avoid contact.

he headed out of bound at the last second after the Bama player went for him. And he hit him on the upper high close to the hip

Looks like he hit him in his right thigh and didn't even make helmet contact at all, hit him with his shoulder/back.

The article said Kamara's "left" knee was injured...Holcombe didn't even come in contact with the left side of Kamara's body.
