After Garrett leaves early, there's no way we see posts asking what the Aggies will do without Garrett right? Since Garrett is so overrated, surely our defense will be better next year without him.

Barnett is best DE in the league. Run stuffer and pass rusher and is a complete DE.

Garret is a great player, but I would not trade Barnett for him. Barnett has that dog in him.

Garrett being overrated doesn't also mean the guy who replaces him can't be worse. Garrett being overrated also doesn't mean he's bad.

Garrett also has 5 FF,1 FR and 1 INT all in SEC play, that is 6 turnovers.

Garrett and Barnett are both fantastic DEs, as is Arden Key.
Edit: All will have good NFL careers. The real winner here is which one gets picked up for the Pro-Bowl first.

I guarantee offenses do not completely game plan around Key and Barnett the way they do Myles. He has to be accounted for with two guys nearly every play. I'd bet good money he will be the highest drafted of the three.

That's such a ridiculous assumption on your part tbh. A&M have a better end opposite of Myles than either LSU or UT. Barnett very regularly faces double teams or has to deal with a TE or RB helping. Teams 100% game plan around Barnett.

Garrett is definitely the superior athlete.
The reality is Garrett is a little bit overrated and Barnett is a little bit underrated.
Garrett is probably the slightly better college player but I still wouldn't trade Barnett for Garrett because I think Barnett plays better in big games.

Barnett's performance on those two UF drives when the game was tightening up was legendary. 2 sacks, a hurry and a TFL in a 5 play sequence.
Sharpe had as good a chance of blocking him as I did.
