The tennessee reaction for the 11 am kickoff announcement v LSU is very telling to me why they have had such an average past in our conference.

A pedestrian athletic program. Second rate in their own division, second rate in their own rivalries. Just happy to have something to bish about occasionally. Casual fanbase, here for the good times and not much more. No depth of understanding. Too ignorant to appreciate anything worthwhile.

They say "Its means more" but here are the vols celebrating that it will mean less.

Very sad to see.

I imagine most Tennessee fans wanted to enjoy the tailgating throughout the day instead of this shite

Casual fans. Will wake up Sunday morning win or lose and not really care.

"Ho hum what is my fantasy football team doing today" Go Titans!

Vitello lol. What a success story he has been. Wins for him in BR? oh, right

No longevity. No tradition other than a cool song, some nice boats, and Tennessee football and baseball hiring a string of "look at me" ashclown coaches who fold like a house of cards within 6 years.

The program doesnt need to do anything because the fans enjoy when it is all just a little bit worse than everywhere else.

Success in knoxville is middle of the road happy to not be at the bottom and happy to not have the burden of being at the top.

You know nothing about Tennessee football and it’s showing.

Football at LSU didn’t start until a few decades ago

Does LSU even have a rival?

Every visiting team prefers 11am games. LSU prefers 11am games when they’re on the road.

Tennessee won SEC championships in 2 of the big 3 sports this year.

Football, Basketball, & Baseball have all been ranked in the Top 10 this year. As it stands, we're shitting on your athletic department.

You sound like an upset little bitch to be honest.

Like I said, Success is to be good but not too good. Just when it could mean more, make it mean less.

Find that sweet spot and stay there. Relevance every 5-7 years in some of the men's sports is good!

Congrats on having that period coincide in the last 16 months or so.

Chronically bad programs embrace brunch games, LSU is not one of those programs.

For the record, orange is a fricking ugly color.

They should be happy it’s not a night game fill with loud, drunk LSU fans.

Better watch it Gump, you're going to get exiled from the cousin fricking program if you defend Tennessee.

The problem is that they are.

Ducking one of the greatest scenes in the conference isn't their fault but being happy about it is just weak. I feel sorry for the children that grow up with family members that teach them this is ok.
