The timing of this 'rumor' is suspect. Right after a bad loss.
Reminds me of the 'Saban's daughter' rumor started about Kiffin after the loss to Ole Miss.
Funny these 'rumors' never start after a big win.

I agree about the timing being interesting, but here's why I think it should be investigated.
1) It fits with other stories that also seem to merit checking.
2) No one is going to break a story like this when fans are amped for the season.
3) Corollary to #2,every employee needs to make sure there isn't a backlog of complaints. A senior guy at work did a lot of things well,but just got axed over a relatively minor issue. Why? He built up no goodwill, and his entire department had stories when HR started fishing.
